Cardiogenic Shock It's 5 am, I can't breathe, I arrive at the ER in cardiogenic shock, my major organs had already started to shut down, I wasn't supposed to make it, then comes open heart surgery and other setbacks. I need a defibrillator to motivate my ticker, then recovery. I am now 75 and have swum over 1,450 miles since then. That's from the Canadian Border to the middle of the Baja, Mexico.
